What you need to know about us
In 2005 Phil Spiby suffered a heart attack and underwent surgery for a triple heart bypass. While under doctors’ orders to rest Phil did some research and decided that he wanted to fulfil a lifelong ambition of working for himself.
Phil set-up Healthcare Matters later that year hoping one day to employee his son and daughter in the business. 14 years later Phil employs 41 people in the business not only his son (Adam) and daughter (Leigh), but also his grandson (Liam). The company has won numerous awards for excellence in service.
The company only operates locally, where excellent service can be provided. Having serviced stairlifts for a number of years, and listened to the complaints of customers, Healthcare Matters decided to start Healthcare Matters Stairlifts: Simple stairlift solutions, simple assessments, simple quotations, simple installations and simply excellent service!

The unique track design and programmable carriage, combined with high-tech software specifying the requirements for each stair care means an excellent product, highly bespoke to a specific environment can be provided almost instantly.
